Union of Voters is a Fee based program of The Chanakya Parishad (www.tcponline.net) a charitable Trust registered at New Delhi. It is in conjunction of its other program Azad Hind Fauz (www.azadhindfauz.org) to bring social & political reform in our motherland.
The Fee charged is to serve as financial backbone of Matree Bhoomi Ma Foundation's (www.mbmfoundation.com) program of 'Back to Basic'. Matree Bhoomi Ma foundation is a Public Limited Company in social sector, with the aim of providing basic essentials of Water, Education, Electricity to 100% of our fellow Indians by the year 2020. Matreebhoomi Ma Foundation will in turn also provide with infrastructure of running both the program, once its Love India phase is completed.
While social reform will be ensured by Matreebhoomi Ma Foundation, the much needed Political Reform will be brought in together by Azad Hind Fauz & Union of Voters.
The concept of Union of Voters is exactly similar to labor unions.
We all have the power to vote. But singularly we feel handicapped in bringing any meaningful change with our vote. By being part of collective voting, we will ensure a meaningful impact of our votes, which in turn will force in changes which our country deserves.
In other terms, Union of Voters is to ensure the sanctity of vote. While there are many regulatory bodies, formed by the government, to check & control functioning of various segment of society… that is SEBI, Telecom Regulatory, etc. there is none to ensure the value of a Vote. The parliament & opposition is supposedly meant for it… but the less said about them is better.
Who will protect the VALUE of VOTE… the most fundamental & prize element of our Constitution?
It cannot be any body from the government as it will be a clash of interest nor can it be by any political party or an entity with any political affiliation. It can only be a body by us… the impartial citizen & the ordinary unaffiliated Voter.
So what does this all mean?
In simpler terms, Union of Voters will keep empowered the voter, that is us, even after we has voted… by playing the role of a watchdog…. Raising issues on merits without any politics or political gain. The only gain it looks for… Good of the Country.
It is to restore the original place of a voter, in our society, that is being Boss of the Government. A Government which will be accountable to the voter… everyday.
Union of Voters intend to harness the power of internet & email for enabling the social & political reform, keeping in view that very shortly there will be 10 crore of us connected by internet.
